WATCH: Westlake girls lose at the buzzer; Vista Ridge, College Station each win by one point

Third-round action in Texas high school girls basketball featured a handful of close games, including a couple that came down to the final buzzer.

AUSTIN, Texas — The Westlake girls basketball team lost on a buzzer beater against Converse Judson in the third round of the high school playoffs.

Final: Judson 43, Westlake 41

Vista Ridge and Cedar Ridge played for the third time this season and the Rangers have won every game. Vista Ridge advances to the regional semi-finals after edging out Cedar Ridge by one point.

Final: Vista Ridge 53, Cedar Ridge 52

College Station held strong on its final defensive possession. Pflugerville could not get the final shot off in time, but the shot got in anyway. College Station advances after winning by one also.
