Serving its patrons one last time: The Frisco auctions off memorabilia

AUSTIN, Texas — The Frisco closed its doors after 60-plus years of service.

However, the owners still wanted pieces of the business to stay with patrons.

"That was kind of a last gift to all of their loyal customers over the years, so that they could buy something to remember this restaurant," said Scott Swenson, President of Jones Swenson Auctions.

Swenson said “just about everything” is up for grabs.

"The kitchen equipment, some of it's only a few years old, so it's in really good condition," said Swenson.

He also pointed out old menus and paintings customers may recognize from the restaurant.

People can get an inside look at the items on Saturday and Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
