FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas — The Fayette County Sheriff's Office announced Friday they found more than 2,000 marijuana plants Thursday.
FCSO said around 1:30 p.m. Thursday, officials conducted a search along Barton Creek off of Highway 71 after hearing reports of marijuana growth.
Officials found approximately 2,500 marijuana plants and seized them, FCSO said. No individuals were found in the area.
