AUSTIN, Texas — All lanes of traffic reopened along Interstate 35 at 12th Street Tuesday afternoon after an 18-wheeler hit a bridge and lost its load, according to TxDOT.
Police shut down Interstate 35 while crews cleaned up the scene, APD said. TxDOT cameras briefly showed authorities diverting traffic off of the highway near 6th Street, but the lanes were later reopened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Drivers should take an alternate route or expect major delays, according to TxDOT. No injuries were reported in the crash.
