AUSTIN -- We Are Blood, formerly known as The Blood Center of Central Texas, is in need of O negative blood.
The organization said on Facebook they have seen a drastic increase in the need for O negative blood and are asking for donations to be made as soon as possible.
According to the organization, 40 O negative donors are needed every day to keep up with the local need. However, on some days they only see two O negative donors.
If you'd like to donate, We Are Blood has two locations in Austin and one in Round Rock. You can find the two locations in Austin at 4300 North Lamar Blvd. and 3100 West Slaughter Lane.
