The spring is a busy season for the Baty family in Lakeway.

From coaching off-season basketball to the baseball playoffs.

The Baty patriarch, Clint is the the boys head basketball coach at Lake Travis. While Clint is building is program for next season, his son, Brett is preparing for another playoff series as Lake Travis is currently.

Brett is one of those special utility players. He is the Cavs' 3rd baseman, but is a reliable arm on the mound, too.

In fact, the son of the basketball coach has produced some impressive numbers this season..

A dozen bombs and a .460 batting average, "he can win a game for you defensively at 3rd", said Michael Rogers, the head baseball coach at Lake Travis High School.

Baty can also win a game on the mound and at the plate, said Rogers.

In other words, healthy father-son relationship.
