AUSTIN -- A teenager suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after a shooting in South Austin Sunday evening, Austin-Travis County EMS said.
The Austin Police Department said officers responded to Wirtz Avenue around 8 p.m.
A male in his late teens with injuries from a gunshot wound was transported to South Austin Medical Center, medics said.
Police reported shortly after the shooting that they are currently looking for a suspect but couldn't immediately give a description.
