AUSTIN -- One person has been taken to the hospital after a fire in south Austin Sunday morning.
It happened on the 7200 block of Twisted Oaks Drive, that's near William Cannon Drive and Manchaca Road.
Austin Fire says the home was completely destroyed. Officials say they evaluated two people at the scene and took one person to South Austin Medical Center. One dog and three cats were killed in the fire.
Investigators say the fire was accidental and was started by "improperly discarded smoking materials."
