Austin Fire Department battled a house fire in Downtown Austin early Sunday morning.
Around noon on Sunday, officials said the fire was intentionally set in a trash can at the back of the house. Then, it extended into the house and office. Damage was estimated at a total of $130,000.
@AustinFireInfo first tweeted about the two-story house fire around 5:30 a.m. The blaze broke out on 17th St. near Nueces St.
Crews were able to get the fire under control around 6:30 a.m.
Officials said no injuries were reported.
