LEANDER, Texas -- Police have given a Leander elementary school the all-clear after a bomb threat evacuated the school Wednesday afternoon, the school district said.
Officials said Rutledge Elementary School was evacuated at around 2:30 p.m. just before classes were scheduled to be dismissed. The district said that after the school was inspected with a bomb-sniffing dog, the all-clear was given at 4:25 p.m. Students and staff are safe.
