Dripping Springs teen charged following overdose calls involving high school students

DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas -- An 18-year-old Dripping Springs High School student has been arrested after the sheriff's office responded to overdose calls involving three other students at the school within one week.

The Hays County Sheriff's Office said that within the past week, they responded to three separate drug overdose calls involving Dripping Springs High School students. The students had taken LSD, according to the HCSO.

An investigation into the calls resulted in the arrest of Alyssa Qualls. Qualls, who has been booked in the Hays County Jail, has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
