Three men arrested after evading police for expired registration

After the vehicle failed to stop, the Hays County Sheriff's Office deployed tire deflation device and the right front tire of the vehicle was deflated. DPS said the driver drove into a strip mall near exit 188 on Interstate 35 in New Braunfels and stopped. The driver and two passengers were taken into custody.

Three men were arrested Thursday after failing to stop for a DPS Trooper for an expired registration, DPS officials said.

Law enforcement attempted to stop a gold Pontiac Grand Prix at approximately 11:53 p.m. along Manchaca Road, according to DPS. After the vehicle failed to stop, the Hays County Sheriff's Office deployed tire deflation device and the right front tire of the vehicle was deflated.

DPS said the driver drove into a strip mall near exit 188 on Interstate 35 in New Braunfels and stopped. The driver and two passengers were taken into custody.

The driver, identified as 37-year-old Kenneth Garren Zoller, was charged with manufacture and deliver of a controlled substance, a second degree felony; evading arrest or detention with a motor vehicle, a third degree felony; and felon in possession of a firearm, a third degree felony. One of the passengers, 31-year-old Jeremy Keith Killian, was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, and felon in possession of a fire arm, a second degree felony. The other passenger, 17-year-old Keith Kunkle, was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
