Saturday morning fire damages Jiu Jitsu school in Northwest Austin.
Austin Fire Department said the fire happened at Vandry Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at 12001 Oak Knoll Dr. around 7:20 a.m. The fire was caused by an accidental electrical short during a distillation process which ignited alcohol vapors in the Austonian Spirits suite, according to Austin Fire.
The fire was confined to one back room of the building and no injuries were reported, according to @AustinFireInfo.
Austin Fire estimated the building suffered $20,000 of damages.
