The Travis County Sheriff's Office said there were three contract employees doing repair work on a "floating recreation area."

A contract employee was doing repairs at a southeast Travis County water park Tuesday afternoon when he fell into the water and later died, the Travis County Sheriff's Office said.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS, first responders were dispatched to the Quest ATX Water Park located at 10815 Farm to Market 1625 at 2:45 p.m. for reports that a man had possibly drowned.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office said there were three contract employees doing repair work on a "floating recreation area." One of the employees -- identified Thursday as Kim Benken, 63, of St. Cloud, Florida -- slumped over and dipped into the water. The other two employees were able to get him somewhat out of the water and started CPR.

After ATCEMS arrived, medics got him completely out of the water and continued CPR.

The man died at 3:19 p.m.

A medical examiner will give the final ruling on the man's death, but the Travis County Sheriff's Office said it is not suspicious.

"It just appears to be a very tragic event," Kristen Dark with the TCSO said.

Dark reported Thursday that no cause of death has yet to be determined, but there's no indication of drowning. The final result of death is pending toxicology results, which TCSO won't get for another 90 days.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
