AUSTIN, Texas — Tuesday is a bit more cloudy, as southeasterly flow returns and moisture from the Gulf of Mexico gives way to a more humid day across Central Texas. This humidity will continue to build through Wednesday and Thursday, while temperatures tick upwards.
Highs today will be in the upper 70s, and then highs increase to the 80s the rest of the week. Due to added moisture in the atmosphere, commuters may note some foggy conditions on Wednesday and Thursday morning, but breezy conditions will increase for the afternoon, making way for some breaks of sunshine. There will be a 10% chance for rain too, but more notable rain will come this weekend.
At the moment, the timing for the rain is expected to be mostly in the evening or early in the morning, but that may change some as we get closer to the event. The KVUE Storm Team will also be monitoring the risk for severe weather during this time, but for the moment those details are a bit unknown.
Rain chances and warm temperatures are expected to continue into the next week too.
